Camden is one of the most famous areas of London, known for whacky markets, vintage shops and a gorgeous canal. No trip to London would be complete without perusing the many alleyways of bric a brac, and grabbing some delicious food from a high quality vendor. To help with your trip, we’ve put together a guide of the best things to do in Camden!
Want to buy a floor length leather jacket and a steampunk hat? Want a bong with a picture of Biggie Smalls on it? Want a taxidermied fox’s head with a golden tiara? We’ve got your back! Camden Market is the best place in London to find a variety of strange items. We recommend spending a good few hours perusing the stalls to get the full experience.

Next on our list is Camden Lock. “Grab a few cans and head down to the lock!” – a phrase you’ll regularly hear many local Londoners saying to each other on a breezy summer’s day. Camden Lock is what they’re talking about, and once there – cans of beer in hand – you’ll see why. Come along on a sunny day and you’ll see hundreds of people lining the canal, enjoying food from the local market stalls. See you there!
