Historic Abbey
One of the most significant landmarks in the whole country, Westminster Abbey has hosted every coronation since 1066. It has also hosted 16 Royal Weddings and 17 British monarchs are buried there. Construction of the present church began in 1245, by King Henry 3rd. The interior is so spectacular that we recommend that you take 1-2 hours to fully enjoy Westminster Abbey. There are often queues so booking online is recommended.
